Careers in E-commerce |
The high-technology industry is the state’s largest, fastest-growing, and highest-paying industry. The state of Washington has an estimated 8,000 vacant positions in software and Internet-related industries. Thousands more information technology-related positions are available in more general businesses.
Current e-commerce careers include systems analyst, Web master, e-account manager, new media buyer, Web product manager, Web project manager, and Internet channel manager. This is a rapidly evolving field, and additional job categories are emerging all the time.

|

|
Salaries |
Organizations are paying top dollars for educated computing and networking technologists. It is realistic to expect e-commerce salaries to parallel those in management information systems, and the best of our business graduates in that field have offers up to $50,000 upon commencement with a bachelor’s degree, often with signing bonuses and stock options.
